These actual, portable libraries are being established at childcare centers that participate in the Neighborhood Initiative to encourage parents to read with their children. Thanks to the Bank of America Charitable Foundation, Success By 6 has received funding for the placement of 5 more lending libraries. Bill Reid Check Presentation
September 2008

Bill Reid, Direct of External affairs at Verizon presents Terry Worthington, UWCF President, with a check from the Verizon Foundation to place additional Parent Lending Libraries in Polk County. Verizon understands that lasting community changes are made when children enter school ready to succeed.

December 2007
The 2007 Maxwell Family Grant selections have been announced and Success By 6 is proud to have received funding for 12 additional Parent Lending Libraries. Thanks to the Maxwell Family for supporting school readiness for the children in our community.

Success By 6 is excited to announce the George W. Jenkins Fund within the Community Foundation of Greater Lakeland, Inc. has selected the Parent Lending Libraries for funding. Thank you for your continued support!

Kurt Elmhorst of the Kiwanis Club of Lakeland presented Terry Worthington of United Way a check to sponsor a Parent Lending Library. The library will be placed in the child care center Colors R Us in Lakeland.Kiwanis Presentation
