UWCF seeks a full-time Sr. Director of Individual Philanthropy to develop, coordinate, implement and direct the activities of United Way of Central Florida’s Individual Giving portfolio. This role is responsible for identifying and implementing innovative strategies that will promote the stewardship of relationships and campaign growth within the Leadership Giving Association and Affinity Groups, including Friends, Benefactors, Democratie, and Tocqueville Society members throughout Polk, Highlands, and Hardee counties.
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; and five to eight years related fundraising or sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

This role is responsible for oversight of the corporate philanthropy team and leading the team towards the implementation of aggressive goals designed to provide the necessary financial resources to achieve organizational needs and fundraising growth.
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; and five to seven years related fundraising and sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficient personal computer skills, ability to multitask and handle a rigorous schedule of deadlines.

Community Care Navigator, Full-time
UWCF seeks a full-time Community Care Navigator to work along side our Community Impact team. This position will connect Polk County residents to the Polk HealthCare Plan and/or to provide referrals to other social services, as needed, such as for food, housing, transportation, child care, etc.
Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience preferred in Health and Human Services or a related field such as Community Relations. Demonstrated communication, management, and interpersonal skills. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Ambassadors
Each year, community-minded employers identify key personnel to participate as Ambassadors in the annual United Way campaign. These individuals expand United Way’s ability to support the organizations that conduct annual workplace campaigns.
Ambassadors act as consultants, relationship builders and resource development professionals as well as inform and share with companies the United Way message through verbal and written communications. They will also interact with a variety of business and community leaders including CEOs and other senior level management, elected officials and leaders.
ReadingPals Manager
UWCF seeks a full-time ReadingPals Manager to manage all aspects of the ReadingPals program including planning, coordination, development, implementation and overall leadership, vision and focus of the ReadingPals initiative.
Associates degree (A.A.) required, B.S. degree preferred. Five years experience with office and project management, data collection, public speaking/presentations; organizational skills a priority.

The role of the Director of Highlands County Operations is to develop, coordinate, implement and direct the activities of the campaign and work with the home office to execute funding initiatives in Highlands County. This role is responsible for oversight of the corporate philanthropy team and leading the team towards the implementation of aggressive goals designed to provide the necessary financial resources to achieve organizational needs and fundraising growth. Additionally, this role provides direction to the home office to develop communications, marketing, planning and assistance with all brand communication.
