Members of the United Way of Central Florida Alexis de Tocqueville Society fulfill the 19th century writing of Frenchman Alexis de Tocqueville by exhibiting the American philanthropic spirit. Established at United Way of Central Florida in 1987, membership into the Society is granted to individuals and families who invest $10,000 or more annually.
The Tocqueville Society is a group of extraordinary community leaders and philanthropists who demonstrate their commitment to making Central Florida a better place to live, work, and raise a family. Tocqueville Society members are results-oriented individuals who generously share their financial resources, time and expertise to make a measurable difference for individuals and families throughout our community.
