What is Women United? Women United is a vibrant, diverse community of women leaders within United Way of Central Florida who transform communities across the world. Members are deeply committed to mobilizing the caring power of women as they work to create a legacy of change.
This group is a powerful, global network of strong women in more than 165 communities across six countries. Since 2002, Women United has invested $1.5 billion in local solutions for health, education and financial stability of every person in every community. Women United believes in the collective power of women and that by empowering each other, we can accomplish more for our communities.
A powerful philanthropic force, women are more likely to give, and give more, across almost every charitable subsector. In 2012, the ReadingPals program was added to advance education by providing more books for kids and the mentoring and tutoring needed to improve academic achievement.
