Why Women United?

This group is a powerful, global network of strong women in more than 165 communities across six countries. Since 2002, Women United has invested $1.5 billion in local solutions for health, education and financial stability of every person in every community. Women United believes in the collective power of women and that by empowering each other, we can accomplish more for our communities.

A powerful philanthropic force, women are more likely to give, and give more, across almost every charitable subsector. In 2012, the ReadingPals program was added to advance education by providing more books for kids and the mentoring and tutoring needed to improve academic achievement.

The purpose of Women United is to inspire, educate and encourage women to effect change in our community with a focus on women and children through philanthropy, volunteering, leadership and membership.
