Does your baby have what it takes to win the inaugural United Way of Central Florida Baby Race and earn bragging rights as Central Florida’s fastest baby?
The United Way + Lakeland Magic Great Baby Race will be held at halftime of the Lakeland Magic basketball game at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 24 vs. Maine Red Claws. The roughly 25-foot raceway gives your little bundle of joy the chance to show off their wheels to win a great prize.
Prior to taking their marks on the starting line, each racer will be introduced to the crowd at the RP Funding Center giving them ample opportunity to root on their favorite baby racers. The winning family will receive a swag bag full of goodies and the eternal honor of owning the title of Central Florida’s fastest baby. All of the families and racers get the satisfaction of giving their best effort, making new friends and giving back to our community.
Prior to race day, your friends will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite baby in the People’s Choice contest beginning March 9th. An online fundraiser will be created for each baby and you will have two weeks to raise as many funds as possible. $1=1 vote.
To register your baby, please submit a picture of your baby along with your baby’s full name, age and appropriate contact information to Jess.Garcia@uwcf.org. Tell us in 50 words or less why your baby should be the People’s Choice and race for the chance to become Central Florida’s swiftest crawler.
