New Officers & Directors Elected for 2024-2025 Term
United Way of Central Florida leaders have approved State Attorney Brian Haas as the next Board Chair for the 2024-2025 fiscal year.
The following have been elected to serve as officers from August 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023:
- Chair: Brian Hass, State Attorney for the Tenth Judicial Circuit of Florida
- Chair-Elect: Jonathan Crain, Two Men and a Truck
- Vice Chair: Superintendent Fred Heid, Polk County Public Schools
- Immediate Past Chair: Michael W. Tamney, The Johnson Tamney Group at Morgan Stanley
- Treasurer: Stacy Butterfield, Polk County Clerk of Courts
- Secretary: Emily Spath, Spath Jewelers
- Community Impact Cabinet Chair: Naomi Boyer, PhD, Nome, LLC
- Community Investment Chair: Brian Donnelly, Publix Super Markets, Inc.
- Resource Development Chair: Lauren Saunders Feaster, Community Volunteer
- Governance & Board Development Chair: Ali Wright, Publix Super Markets, Inc.
- Highlands County Liaison: Brian Norris, Taylor Oil Co., LLC
The Board approved the following seven new directors and unanimously approved them to serve two three-year terms:

- Chief Ian Floyd, Polk County Sheriff’s Office
- Tom Garthwaite, BayCare
