It always amazes us to see the community come together this way every year for our annual Day of Caring. Thank you so much to the 643 volunteers who participated by rolling up their sleeves to help out our local nonprofits.

Volunteers from 43 companies and organizations completed 54 projects in Polk, Hardee and Highlands counties. Our volunteers helped by cleaning children’s toys, stocking shelves, painting walls and much more.

According to IndsependentSector.org, a national nonprofit that promotes community engagement by volunteering, valued the 1,929 hours of work performed on Day of Caring sites at $45,000.

There is no way we can have this kind of impact without such an amazing group of community members! See you next year!
