Increasing School Readiness  /  Mentoring & Tutoring  After School Assistance  Summer Education Camps  /  the result: 16,565 more students now have a better chance to succeed in school and life  /  A partnership with local schools allows us to measure results which show better attendance, better report cards, and higher peabody tests and FCAT scores for those served by United Way programs
  2. Increasing Academic Achievement  /  More Books for Kids  More Highly Qualified Teachers  Teaching Vocabulary Skills  /  the result:  9,227 more children are prepared to read by kindergarten  /  A partnership with local schools allows us to measure results which show higher vocabulary scores of 5 months for every 1 month served by United Way programs
