Fish Fun

Instructions:

1. Ask your child if they know anything about fish.
2. Tell your child that today you will be talking about what fish can do, and what they can’t do.
3. Make a t-chart (see my example in the video)
4. Write down all the things your child comes up with for both.
   • Be sure to read it back to them.
5. Cut a fish shape in a piece of paper and allow your child time to decorate and color their fish.
   • Find a nice place to hang it up and display their work.

Extension:

1. Using goldfish, encourage your child to practice counting.
2. Give them a number and have them count out that many goldfish.
3. Continue with several different numbers.
4. Then eat and enjoy your goldfish snack!
