2022 Highlands County Campaign Kickoff
United Way of Central Florida gathered on Tuesday in Sebring, FL for it’s Highlands County Campaign Kickoff. Donor Alan Jay Wildstein opened up his home to host the event, providing food, drinks and entertainment.
Advisory Board Chair Don Elwell opened up the evening and Campaign Chair Scott Noethlich announced that the workplace campaign goal of $280,000 for Highlands County in 2022-2023.
United Way of Central Florida has been serving the Highlands County community for over 30 years by understanding local needs and contracting with qualified partners to improve the community. The Highlands County Division was added to the United Way of Central Florida service area in 1987.
The 2022-2023 Highlands County Pacesetters were recognized by Ambassador Frankie Vosburg. Pacesetters are those who step up and agree to run their campaigns early to raise funds and get a jump-start on our campaign goal. These companies are: Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast, First Southern Bank, Heartland National Bank, Johnson Stivender Wealth Advisors, Ridge Area Arc, and Wells Fargo – Highlands County.
Top donors of 2021 were also recognized; Alan Jay Automotive Network, Duke Energy, School Board of Highlands County, Dr. CB and Ranjan Patel Family Foundation, Highlands County Board of County Commissioners, Heartland National Bank.
