Thank you, City of Lakeland employees for making a difference in our community.
For decades, City of Lakeland employees have served their community, not only as civil servants, but by supporting United Way of Central Florida
Annually they support United Way through their workplace campaign and show their creativity by hosting several fun events like their chili cookoff, holiday tree decorating contest and more.
If you would like to vote for your favorite tree, visit the RP Funding Center from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. now through December 31.
In 2019, the City of Lakeland raised $93,320 making them the UWCF’s No. 5 supporter. Their donations from special events increased 64% from last year’s campaign and their average employee gift is $151. Their employee coordinator, Clement Bottino, won the year award for outstanding employee coordinator for a large business.
“City of Lakeland each year gets creative with different fundraisers to get people interested in their campaign,” said Dale Stills, senior director of resource development for UWCF. “They’ve done Family Fude Live, they sold shirts and face masks this year. They get very creative and fun with their events and are passionate about giving back.”
Thank you for leading the way and showing what it means to #LiveUnited!
