NEW YEARS RESOULTION

The New Year is a time that sets the tone for your next 364 days. It’s a time that many use to reflect and resolve to make a change.

This year, we hope you will keep United Way of Central Florida in your plans and add LIVE UNITED to your list of resolutions.

Living United is easy. Below is a simple breakdown of how you can not only help yourself in 2018, but make a positive change in your community.

  1. Give – Giving to UWCF, either directly or through your employer’s workplace campaign, is a powerful way to enact change. Watch your donation go to programs that make a real, measurable improvement in peoples’ lives in our three impact areas: Health, Education and Financial Stability.
  2. Advocate – Share your experience with others. Tell a story about how United Way has affected your life or simply inform those in need of valuable UWCF services like 2-1-1 or Family Fundamentals.
  3. Volunteer – There are many opportunities to roll up your sleeves at UWCF. Become a ReadingPal and engage at-risk children with storytelling, join a Community Investment Team and oversee the grant process or participate in several volunteer opportunities our Young Leader Society offers throughout the year.

There are countless ways to LIVE UNITED. To stay up-to-date with all UWCF has to offer, keep checking our newsletter each month for volunteer openings, events and other ways to give, advocate and volunteer.

Additionally, you can subscribe to Talk United on iTunes and the Google Play Music Store. The Weekly Podcast is hosted by UWCF President and CEO Alan H Turner II and features guest community leaders to discuss issues that matter most to you.
